Differentiated Instruction Work Group
State rule requires that an educational plan (EP) be developed
for every student who is eligible for gifted service. The EP is
intended to describe the student’s needs beyond the general
curriculum and specially designed instruction ̶ differentiated
instruction ̶ to ensure the student makes progress according to
the goals on the EP.
Since every student must work toward mastery of the
